In general, it’s decent base for staying in Inverness.

Great location! You can easily stroll to the city center in about 20 minutes, following a lovely riverside path next to River Ness. 🚶‍♂️ Close to a charming back garden too.

location was quiet, close to all attractions. it was located in a lovely area and adjacent to everything. the owner and very good staff took care of me. could use an electric kettle, a fridge, and a microwave oven, admired views of garden. there was kitchen where you could get some good.

The value for money at 42A By The River was excellent. The room was fantastic, with a cool design, all the necessary amenities, and a beautiful backyard with river views. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city centre, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could make the breakfast offerings better would be a wider variety of options.

the place was super clean, cozy, and had recently been renovated. the owners paid attention to the small details, like providing an extra cozy blanket for the colder nights and essential items in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, coffee, and tea. They even left fresh fruits and delicious shortbread biscuits for us to enjoy. the apartment had all the necessary amenities, including a TV with Netflix, kitchen appliances, and a good Wi-Fi connection. I particularly loved the new bathroom and the private feeling of the place, as it was not located on the main street and had windows at the side and rear of the property. It was also conveniently located within easy walking distance from Inverness and Tesco, as well as other walking paths like Bugt Park. Plus, there was no road traffic noise, which made for a peaceful stay. the communication with the owner was also excellent, both through email and phone. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 😊.
